Support for Inorganic1 You can send me all your questions regarding Inorganic1 virtual syth to my email: I will apprecite any suggested new feature and bug report.
Instllation and system requirements: See the DOWNLOAD page HERE
Input/ Output Input is MIDI, you can use both the programmed MIDI from your host software (DAW - Digital Audio Workostation) or MIDI keyboard/ controller. For standalone application (.exe file) you can use the MIDI keyboard/ controller or PC keyboard.
Output: Select the outpur and Input in menu from drop-down list.
Top Panel Main Volume knob is follows by Amplitude Envelope knobs (ADSR). Use the ADSR Envelope to adjust how the volume should change from the time you press any key. More about ADSR you can see here:
A = Attack, D = Decay, S = Sustain and R = Release.
In Preset Manager you can select one from 20 original Inorganic1 presets or make your own preset. Preset = Program so you can save and load one (current) or all your presets/ programs.
Oscillators
There are two independent oscillators - OSC1 and OSC2. You can select the waveform by waveform selector from sinewave, sawtooth, triangle wave, square wave and noise generator. Each oscillator has it owns volume knob.
Then you can set the desired octave with Octave knob and tune the sound with concentric double-knob. Outer rinng is for semi-octave setting and inner knob for fine tone tuning.
Subtractive function is managed by Phase knob and Operation Selector. You can select from Multi = multiplication, Sub = subtraction and None = no phase shift. Phase shift you can set by Phase knob. You can easy observe this effect on the Oscilloscope screen:
Simple sawtooth waveform displayed on Oscilloscope screen
Effect of subtraction (position Sub on Operation Selector). Shifted wave is subtracted from original wave.
Effect of multiplication (position Multi on Operation Selector). You can set the waveform by turning Phase knob.
Oscilloscope For comfortable operation is Inorganic1 equipped with adjustable Oscilloscope. With this feature you can easy see real time result on the sreen. It is very helpful for Phase setting.
Switch the Oscilloscope on and select the source. Selector has OUT possition (final output from the synth after effects), OSC1+2 (output from Filter before effects), OSC1 and OSC2 (direct output from Oscillators). With Rate knob you can set the X-axis range and adjust it fine with Fine knob. With Amp knob you can set the amplitude (Y-axis).
Tip: Turn the Rate knob right and you can see the envelope shape. Tip: Click with mouse over the screen and freeze the screen for details.
Filter State variable multi-mode filter (Filter) comprising LP = Lowpass, HP = Highpass, BP = Bandpass, BR = Bandreject and Peak filters for shaping the overall timbre of the sound. Cutoff knob sets the range of frequencies. Res = Resonance sets the characteristic of sound. Track knob determines the proportion of pitch applied to the cutoff frequency.
With Filter ADSR Envelope you can control the filter cutoff. Filter ADSR gives the breath to the sound. Effects Inorganic1 has two effects - Delay and Reverb.
Delay - you set the delay up to 1 second, Feed specified how quickly the echoes dissipate and Mix is a simple Dry/Wet mix. Reverb effect: Room determines the size of room, Damp controls the high frequency attenuation, Width knob controls the width of stereo effect and Mix is Dry/Wet mix.
